WYVERN

PROJECT:
New Build Luxury Family Home

LOCATION:
Rugby

PLANNING AUTHORITY:
The Rugby Borough Council

STATUS:
Planning Approved

PCA Architects was commissioned to take over the design of this new-build family home in Rugby after construction had already begun. With the foundations poured, the existing footprint had to be retained, so the brief focused on reworking the external appearance of the property within those established constraints. The aim was to give the house a more contemporary architectural character while making the most of the scheme already in place.

DESIGN APPROACH:

Our client was in favour of more contemporary
designs than they had originally.

Given the constraints of the existing footings,
we introduced a new gable feature and an
overhanging entrance. We blended modern
materials with the traditional brick finish to
create a unique aesthetic.
